Refund Policy

How cancellations and refunds work for FormSign subscriptions. Keep this page bookmarked if you are reviewing checkout on formsign.world.

Last updated 2 October 2026

1. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

New FormSign subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com. Paddle collects the payment, issues the receipt, charges any applicable tax, and processes approved refunds back to the original payment method. Do not send card numbers to FormSign by email.

2. What you are buying

Paid access is $12 per accepted member per month, monthly only. Pending invites don't count.

Each accepted member adds 5 live workflows to a shared pool. Each extra live workflow is $2 per month.

There is no free trial.

A workflow goes live permanently at its 10th real completion or 2nd signature send. Preview fills don't count.

A card is requested when the first workflow goes live, and Paddle charges immediately.

If there is no card, the live workflow keeps running for 7 days. During that time the first 50 completions stay visible. Later completions are still accepted but locked: hidden from the workspace, and no documents are generated, until a card is added. After day 7 without a card, the workflow pauses.

A failed payment gives a 3-day grace, then the workflow pauses. Signers already in progress can finish.

Archived workflows stop counting at the next renewal.

This is a recurring subscription. It renews automatically at the then-current plan price until you cancel. By completing Paddle checkout you agree to this Refund Policy and the Terms of Service.

3. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with FormSign after a paid Paddle charge, you may request a full refund of that payment within 30 days of the charge date.

  • The 30-day window applies to your first paid Paddle payment and to later renewal charges.
  • Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Bank timing is outside our control.
  • Once a refund for a period is completed, paid access for that period may be removed.

Consumers in the UK or European Economic Area may have additional cooling-off rights. We will honour those rights. If you ask us to start the paid service immediately, you acknowledge that some withdrawal rights for digital services can be affected once the service has been fully performed; the 30-day guarantee above still applies to Paddle charges.

4. How to request a refund

Ask as soon as you can, and include the email used at checkout and the workspace name:

  • Email support@formsign.world.
  • You may also contact Paddle buyer support at paddle.net, or use Manage billing in FormSign to open the Paddle customer portal where that is available.

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within two business days and to ask Paddle to process approved refunds promptly after that. Paddle handles the return of funds.

5. Cancelling without a refund

You may cancel at any time so that the subscription does not renew. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access until that date. This is not a prorated refund of unused days after the 30-day money-back window, except where the law or Paddle requires otherwise.

Cancel from Billing in FormSign, from the Paddle portal, or by emailing support@formsign.world.

6. When a refund may be declined

A refund request made within 30 days will normally be approved. We may refuse or limit a refund if:

  • the request is outside the 30-day window and no extra legal right applies;
  • the charge was already refunded, or is a duplicate request;
  • we reasonably believe the request is fraudulent or an abuse of the guarantee (for example repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles);
  • the payment was not made through Paddle for a FormSign subscription.

Chargebacks filed without contacting us first often delay resolution. Please email support first; we would rather refund an eligible payment than fight a dispute.

7. Failed payments

A failed payment gives a 3-day grace, then the workflow pauses. Signers already in progress can finish. Stored work is not deleted only because a workflow is paused. A successful payment restores the workflow.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, email support@formsign.world. We aim to respond within ten business days. For Paddle orders you can also use paddle.net. South African consumers may contact the National Consumer Commission (0860 003 600, thencc.org.za).

9. Changes

We will update this page if the refund rules change and will tell Paddle when we do, as their seller handbook requires. The date at the top is the current version.
